A few photos from the safaris at Susan Gir Wildlife Sanctuary:
On our morning safari we spotted this large deer, lots of monkeys, peacocks, but no lions
Since this is the only place in the world where asiatic lions are found we were really hoping to see one. On our afternoon safari, we did!
Then two males…
One was awake and the other was taking a nap.
Until the ranger made some noise and woke him up.
He's looking just a bit grumpy!
